The size is much smaller than many of the large handled flashlights, and that's a good thing. The light is very bright and the lantern is a nice added feature.

I live outside of town and the electricity goes off out here quite often. I purchased one of these lanterns a couple of years ago and it has been a lifesaver. When this recent deal came along I went ahead and got a couple of more so that we can have them upstairs as well as downstairs. They last forever and are a great safety investment.

Simple to setup (put in3 AA batteries). Pull the top up for lantern or press green button for the flashlight. The handle can be moved to provide a hanger if placed in the available holes on the top of the lantern. That's it! How great is that????

I love the concept of a flashlight/lantern but these are very cheaply made. One flashlight quit the first time I used it and another was dropped and shattered into many pieces. That said, the light from it is great, if you treat it like porcelain.

I am concerned that the box says there is USB charging and optional AC adapter and I don't find any of this in the box. Otherwise I think this is a great lantern.
